Claire Bowyer promoted to Partner
We are delighted to announce that Claire Bowyer, Cardano’s General Counsel, has been promoted to Partner.
Claire joined Cardano in 2009 to guide the business on all legal and regulatory aspects and to ensure the best investment terms and trading arrangements are achieved for clients.
Claire leads the Legal and Compliance Team, comprising eight specialists. She oversees legal and operational due diligence of proposed investments, analysis of fund structures, the negotiation of investment terms and derivative arrangements, and on-going regulatory compliance.

Before joining Cardano, Claire was a senior lawyer at law firm Travers Smith, where she specialised in Investment Funds, Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions. During her 12 years at Travers Smith, Claire led the structuring and formation of private equity and hedge funds, managed the structural re-organisation of various fund managers and advised institutional investors on their investments in a variety of funds.
